Free debt & budgeting advice
Confidential, non-judgemental support when money worries feel overwhelming
Harpenden Money Advice Centre
Friendly, face-to-face support to help you find freedom from debt and money worries
We understand how overwhelming debt can feel.
It can affect your sleep, your relationships, and your peace of mind.
It can bring anxiety, guilt, and shame — a sense of being imprisoned.
But there is hope — and practical help.
How we can help you
We help you understand your debts and look at all the options available to you. Together we’ll find a way forward that fits your circumstances — whether that’s a repayment plan, debt relief, or another solution.
We check that you’re getting all the benefits you’re entitled to and help with claims, reviews, and appeals where needed. This can make a real difference to your income and financial stability.
We work with you to look at your income and spending and create a realistic budget you can live with. Small changes can often reduce pressure and help you regain control.
How we work with you
This is how we usually work with clients, but every situation is different and we adapt as we go.
Sometimes we’re able to talk through debt options in the first meeting; in other cases it takes longer.
Most importantly, we take things step by step, at a pace that feels right for you. You make all the decisions.
