I had been struggling with debt for a while and was ashamed to ask for help at first. When it was suggested to me that I contact the Harpenden Money Advice Centre I was nervous that I might be judged but once I plucked up the courage to make the first appointment and I went to it I soon realised that they are not at all judgemental and was there to help. We discussed my debts and possible options. I went home to have a think about things and I decided to go for a Debt Relief Order so once the paperwork was done it was applied for.

A couple of days ago I heard the most amazing news, my DRO was granted and I felt such a huge relief, I really felt like a weight had been lifted from me. It was such an amazing feeling and I can't thank HMAC enough for thier help. In a year's time I will be completely debt free and in the meantime I won't be getting hassled about payments to my creditors.
I highly recommend this service to anyone who is struggling financially.
